Using DDS between different simulation programs

I have a flight simulation project created with Unity3D.
I provide a real-time data transfer between a different flight simulator and Unity3D via the socket. I want to use the DDS to data transfer between the two simulation program.

But I'm new to DDS and I don't know where to start. Is it possible to do this with RTI Connext?

Hi,

This forum post might be a good place to start: https://community.rti.com/forum-topic/support-unity-game-engine

In short, the RTI Connext DDS C# API is not compatible with Unity3D because it mixes managed and native code (which isn't supported by mono).

The Connector for C# can be used to get around this (https://github.com/rticommunity/rticonnextdds-connector-cs/).

Hope that helps,

Sam
