2.4.5. Toolbar¶

Preferences ICON_PREFERENCES - Displays the Preferences Dialog.

Open Configuration ICON_OPEN_FILE - Allows you to open an XML file for editing.

Physical View ICON_PHYSICAL_VIEW - Shows or hides the Physical View.

DDS Logical View ICON_DDS_LOGICAL_TREE - Shows or hides the DDS Logical View.

Processes View ICON_DDS_PROCESS_VIEW - Shows or hides the Processes View.

RTI Internal Topics Filter ICON_DDS_FILTER - Turns filtering for RTI internal topics on or off. When on (the default), DDS topics that are used to control or monitor RTI services or functionality are hidden from view. You can turn this filter off, but this should only be done if you are trying to debug RTI internal topics (or to gain a better understanding of the data types or QoS being employed by these topics).

Match Analyses View ICON_MATCH_CRITERION - Creates a new Match Analyses View.

Health View ICON_HEALTH_VIEW - Creates a new Health View.

DDS Data Type View ICON_DATA_TYPE - Creates a new DDS Data Type View.

DDS QoS View ICON_QOS - Creates a new DDS QoS View.

Open Data Visualization Perspective ICON_OPEN_PERSPECTIVE - Changes Admin Console’s perspective from Administration (the default) ICON_ADMINISTRATION_PERSPECTIVE to Data Visualization ICON_DATA_VISUALIZATION .

Sample Inspector ICON_SAMPLE_INSPECTOR - Opens a new Sample Inspector view. This view is described in Sample Inspector.

Sample Log ICON_SAMPLE_LOG - Opens a new Sample Log view. This view is described in Sample Log.

Time Chart ICON_TIME_CHART - Opens a new Time Chart view. This view is described in Time Chart.

Back / Forward buttons ICON_NAV_ARROWS - Arrows that help you navigate to other Admin Console views that have been previously opened.

Open Perspective ICON_OPEN_PERSPECTIVE - Displays a dialog where you can select different perspectives. Note that only Administration ICON_ADMINISTRATION_PERSPECTIVE and Data Visualization ICON_DATA_VISUALIZATION perspectives are supported. The other perspectives are part of the platform (Eclipse) upon which the Admin Console application is built.

Administration Perspective ICON_ADMINISTRATION_PERSPECTIVE - Changes the current perspective to Administration.

Data Visualization Perspective ICON_DATA_VISUALIZATION - Changes the current perspective to Data Visualization. Note that this button is not displayed until after the Data Visualization perspective has been shown once. There is another button to invoke it directly, described above.
