To get you up and running as quickly as possible, the |RTI_SP_TM| documentation
is divided into several parts.

  — This document describes how to install |RTI_SP_TM|, as well as OpenSSL.

* :link_connext_dds_secure_gsg:`RTI Security Plugins Getting Started Guide <index.html>`
  — This document introduces you to |RTI_SP_TM| and provides several Hands-On
  exercises.

* :link_connext_dds_secure_rn:`RTI Security Plugins Release Notes <>`
  — This document describes system requirements, what's fixed, and known issues.

* :link_external_community:`Migration Guide on the RTI Community Portal
  <static/documentation/connext-dds/current/doc/manuals/migration_guide/index.html>`
  — This document describes how to migrate to the current release from a
  previous |CONNEXT| release, including what compatibility issues you may need
  to account for during your upgrade. This guide is updated as needed.

* *RTI Security Plugins User's Manual*
  — This document describes the features of the product and how to use them. It
  is organized around the structure of the builtin plugins defined by the
  :link_external_security_spec:`DDS Security specification (version 1.1) <1.1>`, that |RTI_SP|
  implement, as well as certain common high-level tasks.

* :link_connext_dds_pro_gsg:`RTI Connext Getting Started Guide <index.html>`
  — This document describes the core value and concepts behind |RTI_CONNEXT_TM|
  and takes you step-by-step through the creation of a simple example
  application.

Many readers will also want to look at additional documentation available
online. In particular, RTI recommends the following:

* Use the `RTI Customer Portal <https://support.rti.com/>`_ to download RTI
  software and contact RTI Support. The RTI Customer Portal requires a username
  and password. You will receive this in the email confirming your purchase. If
  you do not have this email, please contact `license@rti.com
  <mailto:license@rti.com>`_. Resetting your login password can be done directly
  at the RTI Customer Portal.

* The :link_external_community:`RTI Community Portal <>` provides a wealth of knowledge
  to help you use |CONNEXT|, including:

    * Best practices,

    * Example code for specific features, as well as more complete use-case examples,
