47.23 SERVICE QosPolicy (DDS Extension)

The SERVICE QosPolicy is intended for use by RTI infrastructure services. User applications should not modify its value. It includes the member in Table 47.42 DDS_ServiceQosPolicy.

An application can determine the kind of service associated with a discovered DataWriter and DataReader by looking at the service field in the PublicationBuiltinTopicData and SubscriptionBuiltinTopicData structures (see Chapter 28 Accessing Discovery Information through Built-In Topics).

47.23.1 Properties

This QosPolicy cannot be modified after the Entity is enabled.

There are no requirements that the publishing and subscribing sides use compatible values.
