2. Installation

Web Integration Service is pre-installed as part of Connext Professional. It is also available as a standalone container-based deployment on RTI’s Docker Hub registry.

2.1. HTTPS/WSS Support

Web Integration Service supports HTTPS and WSS. To enable HTTPS/WSS support, you must install OpenSSL. The package is available from the RTI Customer Portal.

Be sure to install both the host and target OpenSSL packages.

• The host package enables OpenSSL for Web Integration Service, as well as other RTI applications such as RTI Routing Service, rtiddsspy, etc.

• The target package provides OpenSSL libraries that can be used to secure your applications.
