Chapter 64 UDPv4, UDPv6, and Shared Memory Transport Plugins

The transport plugins UDPv4, UDPv6, and shared memory are three of the builtin transport plugins in Connext (see 63.1 Builtin Transport Plugins). Connext automatically creates an instance of the UDPv4 and shared memory transports. To use the UDPv6 transport, you must enable it using the mask field in the 56.8 TRANSPORT_BUILTIN QosPolicy (DDS Extension). This chapter provides information about how to configure these transports.
