4.1. Cryptography
4.1.1. [Critical] Unable to write samples when using batching and serialized data protection
If you had:
A Topic that protected serialized data. That is, a data_protection_kind in the Governance Document other than
NONE.A DataWriter that used batching. That is, DDS_DataWriterQos::batch.enable set to DDS_BOOLEAN_TRUE.
The FooDataWriter_write function incorrectly returned DDS_RETCODE_ERROR after generating the following error messages:
ERROR [[...]{[...]}|WRITE] COMMENDFacade_canSampleBeSent:NOT SUPPORTED | Fragment data not supported by this writer.
ERROR [[...]{[...]}|WRITE] [...]:sample cannot be sent
ERROR [[...]{[...]}|WRITE] PRESPsWriter_flushBatchWithCursor:FAILED TO SEND | Reliable write
ERROR [[...]{[...]}|WRITE] PRESPsWriter_writeBatchInternal:!error flushing batch
This occurred when Connext attempted to flush a batch because it reached the message_size_max of the transport (instead of other limits, such as batch.max_data_bytes or batch.max_samples).
