:critical:`[Critical]` Application may have frozen during discovery of a remote participant
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An application may have frozen during discovery of a remote participant when the
built-in participant announcement *DataWriter* used asynchronous publishing.
This was due to a race condition caused by the flow controller. Now, the
built-in participant announcement *DataWriter* will only use synchronous
publishing.
