      The Mac OS distribution is a self-extracting shell script. After downloading, open a terminal window and run  the sh command, passing the downloaded file as the only parameter. For example:
      sh  rti_prototyper_with_lua-5.0.0-x64Darwin10gcc4.2.1.run
