It is as Johnny said, except for that there is no directory named "etc" there :)
If an administrator installed and did not change the default paths it it will likely be under C:\Program Files\ndds.4.5d or C:\Program Files\RTI\ndds.4.5d
In addition to the directories mentioned by Johnny you shoud find a file called rev_host_rtidds.4.5d if needed you may want to search your system for this file. NDDSHOME should be set to the directory that contains the file rev_host_rtidds.4.5d
NDDSHOME should point to the location where you have installed RTI Connext DDS
An administrator installed it, and there is a folder structure. So, I was looking for a leaf folder name or something like that.
It should point to the root ndds directory which itself contains for example bin/doc/include/etc
