Real scenarios message size

Hello RTI users,

 

I'm measuring performance in different DDS scenarios, and I'd need to know what range of message sizes are being used in real scenarios, so my work focus in that range.

 

I will be grateful for any information you can provide me,

Hello Juan,

This is hard to answer in general. Real scenarios vary a lot. I know of customer that have gone up to 50-100MB messages and I am hearing of people would like to go all the way up to 1GByte...

So if you are trying to characterize performance or behavior, accross a wide range of message sizes  I would recommend you go all the way up to 1GB...
