Hello Devin,

Can I ask a few more questions about your use case of using DDS over the internet?

*  Do the remote publishers and subscribers all have direct access to the internet indepently or are they connect together on a LAN?

*  Do the local publishers and subscribers have direct access to the internet or are they on a LAN together as well?

*  Do you use NAT routers as the primary access to the internet for these applications?

*  Any more detail you can give on the network setup would be greatly appreciated and would enable us to answer the question better.

Thank you, Bert

Thanks for your attention to my question!

*  Do the remote publishers and subscribers all have direct access to the internet indepently or are they connect together on a LAN?

They all can communicate on the Internet, such as A branch in New York, B branch in San Francisco, and now I want to let DDS make two branches publish subscription data.

*  Do the local publishers and subscribers have direct access to the internet or are they on a LAN together as well?

A branch is a local area network, B branch is also a local area network, but all can access the Internet.

Do you use NAT routers as the primary access to the internet for these applications?

I do not know the working principle and technology of NAT routers
