How can I figure out through the command line what version of RTI DDS I have, I am mainly concered about finding the version marked as x in my example 5.2.3.x?
Mainly if I have 5.2.3.17 or a different 5.2.3.x version.

Hi,
You probably got the answer for this, but I thought I would answer here for other people that might be in the same situation.
There is a document in your installation folder for RTI Connext called rti_versions.xml that will state which version of the software you have installed. That document is also read by Launcher, so if your system supports Launcher, you can also see the version there.
All the best,
Sara
