The RTI DDS Toolkit is currently only supported on Windows. So the short answer is sadly a no. However we are working on supporting LabVIEW Real-Time and we'd like to support some of NI's platforms later this year. Also, we support NI's linux and VxWork from our Core libraries (in C, C++ and Java). If that might be an option for you, please contact us and we'll help you with that.
We're trying to contact you regarding the use of NI Real-Time, NI Linux and so on. Can you email us from a valid email address so we can follow up with the NI Linux information?
short form: NI Linux will be supported with the 5.1.0 LabVIEW toolkit, which we haven't finalized yet. We'd like to set you up with the EAR once we get to that level of stability.
My email address is my username on this board at RTI.
I'm not familiar with that platform. I've been doing some research and that platform uses Windows OS, doesn't it? Do you need LabVIEW RT running on that platform or is it regular LabVIEW running on it?
I'm looking into using DDS for a large application that communicates with many different types of DAQ devices. The main application will be running on Windows, however, the NI hardware I need to talk to is the Compact FieldPoint (cFP-2220). This is running VxWorks. Specifically, this version: NI Real-Time VxWorks-PPC603 6.3
Is there any possibility that I will be able to run DDS on them?

Hi Jay,
Which LabVIEW Real-Time platform (target hardware) are you interested in?
Thanks,
David
Sara, thank you for the quick response. Is the addon for RT a possibility for later this year, then?
David,
NI PXIe-8135 Core i7-3610QE with ExpressCard
Yes, RT support is a possibility for later this year. The PXIe-8135 is one of the platforms we are looking into.

David
Sara, could I get a bit of detail about how to use the Core libraries in LabVIEW RT (NI linux)?

I'm wondering if any progress has been made on support for LabVIEW Real-Time on the PXI platform?
Thanks,
Marcus

Is there support for LabVIEW RT yet? Need support for the NI SOM, cRIO linux targets. Would like to have legacy support for VXWorks and Pharlap.
We support LabVIEW Real-Time on ARM based Linux targets. You can download the RTI DDS Toolkit for LabVIEW Real-Time here: http://www.ni.com/gate/gb/GB_EVALTLKTRTIDDS/US
Under "Optional Download" you'll see "Support for cRIO-9068 (evaluation only)."
Someone from RTI will contact you regarding VxWorks and Phar Lap support.
