Max Participant Index questions

 

Does a very high value for Max Participant Index have any detrimental effects when using the shmem transport (i.e., 60@shmem)?

Also, if the Max Participant Index is set to 60 in the environment values and another service uses a  default profile with it set to 9@shmem, does the 9 override the setting of 60 for all services?
