5.2.0 RTI Launcher is not working properly

Affects to RTI Connext DDS version 5.2.0 only

With RTI Connext DDS 5.2.0, there are two scenarios that could cause RTI Launcher to not work correctly:

  1. The launcher did not correctly parse a license file when the computer’s locale was not English (due to the locale’s date format).
  2. Licensed features (such as Monitor, Admin Console) managed with separate licenses may become disabled (greyed out) if one of the licenses in the license file has expired.

To resolve these issues, you need to install the RTI Connext DDS patch. You can download the patch by logging into the Support Portal and clicking on the Downloads tab to find the patch and the patch instructions.
