Why do I see a "CapturingAgentManager initialized" message when I start RTI Analyzer?

The following error may appear when you upgrade or install a new version of RTI Analyzer over the same workspace that was used by a previous version of RTI Analyzer.

CapturingAgentManager initialized, but did not find any valid capturing agent installed

Creating a new workspace should fix the problem. To create a new workspace:

  • If you can start RTI Analyzer, select File, Switch workspace. You will see the Workspace Launcher. From there, change the workspace directory to a new one.
  • If you cannot start RTI Analyzer, go to the workspace directory in the file system and remove it. After that, you should be able to open RTI Analyzer, which will ask you to set a new workspace.
