Dear all, I have downloaded the community version and the license is free-of-charge for 30 days.
I deployed the apps developed and compiled as executables on several PCs of my testbed, and they all seems to stop working as long as the license is expired.
So, I presume the only way to re-enable the apps developed is to re-install the license on every PCs?
BTW, if I purchase the commercial license, and it seems to be charged per developer per year, do I need to follow the same procedure of updating license on every nodes, per year?
I am a bit confused then.
RTI provides the community version for use with open source projects. When you apply for the community version, you automatically receive the evaluation distribution that you can use while we confirm your eligibility for the community version.
The evaluation distribution of the software requires a license file and includes a 30-day license. However, the distribution included with a commercial license does not require a license file for the run-time libraries. So, if you purchase a commercial license there is no license file that you would have to update on every PC.
Dear David, I get the point. Thanks a lot!
