I am considerred a rookie on RTI Connext DDS. I ran example on "Pefrtest" & use 10000 latencycount 100000. According to the guide, latencycount is default at 1. But I didn't see much delay when I ran the example with laencycount 100000. I would like to understand more.

latencycount specifies the number of samples to send between sending latency pings (which measure latency). But if you send too many latency pings it can affect your throughput results.
I recommend reading this section of the manual which describes the details and tradeoffs.
There is also an example section that might help you match your testing goals with an example test scenario so you can use a valid testing template.
