RTI DDS Installer does not run on Ubuntu 18.04

Hello,

When I try to run the rti_connext_dds-6.1.0-lm-x64Linux4gcc7.3.0.run file on my Ubuntu 18.04 system, nothing happens. After a long time the process gets killed ?

Has anyone faced above issue during installation ? Can you suggest any solution for this issue as I am unable to install ?

Issue got resolved. Did an 'apt-get upgrade' and a system reboot. After that the installer launched & I could install RTI DDS successfully. Thanks.
