I ran the new DDS 6.1.0 installer on a Debian 11 (x64) and observed different behavior that I was used from the previous installers (5.X.X, 6.0.X) - more detail below, but my question is if this is intended and RTI follows a new approach.

When we make use of the RTI-DDS routing service we are often asked by our IT-security: What is the higher level protocol (above TCP).
I know DDS in local networks is RTPS2 via UDP. But what is it exactly if we use the routing service via TCP over a single port?

Dear All,
in a specic application we have a Windows 8.0 tablet (Intel Atom 32-bit). Where the wireless network is disabled and the only network connection available is by an USB-Ethernet adapter.
In the working procedure the user of the tablet has to disconnect the USB-Ethernet adapter for plugging another usb in the same port while the applicaton using DDS is still running. Afterwards the USB-network device is connected again. However than the DDS communication is no longer available.
