RTI Announces Availability of Connext Drive 4.0

Dear Customer,

 

RTI is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Connext Drive 4.0, the latest version of our automotive software that accelerates the development of next-generation SDVs. 

 

Highlights of Connext Drive 4.0 include:

  • Automotive Scenarios: Ready-to-use development scenarios for common use cases, including Zonal Architecture; High Performance Compute (HPC); Edge-to-Cloud; and Simulation for HiL, SiL, MiL and AUTOSAR.

  • AI Capabilities for Developers: New AI-powered assistance to help diagnose, debug, analyze, and generate sample code for increased output with fewer errors.

  • SDV Toolchain: The industry’s first DDS-based SDV toolchain, enabling development teams to streamline software development, testing and deployment with pre-integrated automotive partners’ software and tools.

  • Automotive Safety & Security Enhancements: Expanded support for ISO 21434 and ISO 26262, streamlined domain-trust and topic-trust protection and strengthened PSK-based security across DDS domains.  

Connext Drive 4.0 includes the latest versions of our software products (Long-Term Support (LTS) provides lifecycle stability for mission-critical production programs):

  • RTI Connext Professional 7.3.1 LTS: Optimized for real-time, distributed simulation and HPC workloads at scale.

  • RTI Connext Micro 2.4.14.3 LTS: Lightweight reliability for safety-critical ECUs.

    • Lightweight Security Plugins — PSK-based RTPS encryption adds robust protection with minimal overhead.

    • Bandwidth-efficient filtering — New experimental content filtering reduces load on constrained networks.

  • RTI Connext Micro 4.2: Smaller, faster and more secure for constrained automotive platforms.

  • RTI Connext Cert 2.4.16: Pre-certified components aligned with ISO 26262. Security mechanisms that map to and are process aligned with ISO/SAE 21434 that provides protection for automotive cybersecurity requirements. Zero-copy data flow that eliminates redundant transfers for ultra-low latency.
