Simulink Implementation of the Data Distribution Service for Vehicular Controllers on Top of GBE and AFDX

Vehicular networks have seen major changes in the past few years in order to offer reliable and real-time capable high-speed data transmission between electrical and mechatronic components to map current and future innovative functions into distributed systems within automotive applications. In the same context, the real-time middleware data distribution service (DDS) is an appropriate alternative for the standard vehicular middleware considering that it handles quality of service (QoS) parameters including real-time ones.

Subscriber does not switch according to QoS settings (MATLAB/Simulink)

Hi All,

I am quite new to rti DDS and I am trying to implement redundancy using my own USER_QOS_PROFILE.xml settings.

I have installed rti DDS toolkit in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and I setup a simple subscriber in Simulink which is expected to accept data from publishers with exclusive ownership and different ownership strengths.

Applying MBSE to the Industrial IoT: Using SysML with Connext DDS and Simulink

The benefits of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML are well established. As a result, users want to apply MBSE to larger and more complex Industrial IoT applications.

Industrial IoT applications can be very challenging: They are distributed. They deploy components across nodes spanning from small Devices to Edge computers to the Cloud. They often need mathematically-complex software. Moreover, they have strict requirements in terms of performance, robustness, and security.

Evaluation of Head-Up Displays for Teleoperated Rendezvous & Docking

Summary: This paper provided a brief overview of the experimental proximity operations HUD developed at LRT. It then proceeded to describe the evaluation experiments conducted to determine which HUD configuration is most beneficial for operator performance. The results of these experiments are discussed and some conclusions are drawn for future development and research work. Furthermore, the adapta- tions of the HUD made when incorporating it into the Third Eye situation awareness enhancement operator interface are detailed.
