What is the reason show server logical port error

Hello,

I have a question for the packages in wireshark.

I only set 7400 port to transfer data, but why we can see in wireshark shows

Server Logical Port Request (7414), Server Logical Port Request (7416), Server Logical Port Request (7418)

and  server logical port error?

Fragmented packets in Wireshark capture

Hello,

         I have downloaded automotive code from the website "https://www.rti.com/developers/case-code/automotive" while executing the launch file, the protocol used for sending the data is IPV4 which i have observed in the wireshark but while executing the Helloworld example it is showing RTPS.

         What is the reason it is showing IPV4 but not the RTPS.

Wireshark Analysis of DDS Packets

Hi,

I am trying to find the packets which been sent by the RTI DDS over the  network. I am capturing packets for Shape Demo with wireshark. I need help in the analysis part. I am attaching pcap file also with this topic.

I am trying to find the DATA which is been sent from publisher to the subscriber in the DATA Submessage, but i didn't find readable values of data (x, y, color etc) of the topic available in this sub message.

Can anyone help in figuring out that.

How to identify liveliness assertion of a data writer in Wireshark

I would like to verify a specific data writer is asserting liveliness per the liveliness lease duration defined in the QoS profile.  I've reviewed the RTI Wireshark Getting Started, but I can't seem to identify this message in Wireshark.  I've also noticed that the detail I can see is different when using Wireshark 1.2.3 that came in the RTI\installers 5.0.0\Wireshark 1.2.3.20120831 folder versus using Wireshark 1.10.6 from the Wireshark website.

Wire Trace Of Loopback RTPS2 Messages

On Windows, I know that Wireshark doesn't capture packets sent through the loopback interface, so I downloaded RawCap.  Unfortunately, it only works on one of the four Windows machines that I'm testing on.  On the one machine where it works, I'm able to capture 127.0.0.1, including all the DDS messages and view the resulting capture file in Wireshark.  For the three machines that don't work, RawCap says that its unable to enter promiscuous mode with the following message, "Unable to enter promiscuous mode (RCVALL_ON), using RCVALL_SOCKETLEVELONLY."
