I recently noticed that our RTI recording service is recording occasional invalid samples under the NOT_ALIVE_NO_WRITERS_INSTANCE_STATE. SampleInfo valid data is false.
This was first noticed when looking at the recording service metadata.db Files_2_0 table. The first shard of the recording session state that the minimum SampleInfo_source_timstamp was -1000000000.
This is a potential issue for our software.

I am trying to use the java api for the rti routing service. I have successfully got the route running with the initial configuration file, but I need more information on how to use the createEntity and deleteEntity methods.

I am launching 3 routing service instances via the RTIRoutingService.bat files which launch rtiroutingservice.exe programs.
Due to the inability to configure the routing service to log directly to a file I am forced to use the RTI Distributed Logger to receive log messages.
I am using RTI 5.3.1 with a SQLite database. I have noticed that the WAL file gets quite large and I know that it doesn't clear until all connections to the database are closed. This happens when the RTI recorder gracefully exits but is there any way to trigger the recorder to disconnect/reconnect to allow the WAL file to merge with the main database at periodic times without losing data?
I'm getting WAL files of 8GB on a 3GB main database.
